Established as a small farm unit in 1998, today Global Agritech is a leading seed potato producer in USA and is the best address for sourcing potato planting material. The establishment is located and operates in West Texas, a region which has been identified as “Most Ideal” on basis of comprehensive and systematic scientific surveys. Presence of disease free environment and most suitable soil conditions are two of the many positive findings of such scientific investigations in West Texas.

During its pilot phase, our organization procured disease free breeder’s seed of popular varieties from federal potato research institute and multiplied the stocks at our farms. Since generation and extrapolation of new ideas has been an integral part of our work culture, the organization commissioned its own tissue culture and diagnostic facility as a part of vertical integration. The tissue culture facility has now been upgraded to include state of the art aeroponics technology. Presently the facility has capacity to produce four million propagules annually. The diagnostic facility is equipped with the most sensitive techniques namely ELISA, PCR and Real time PCR.

Nucleus and basic potato seed is exclusively multiplied at our own farm spread over 3000 acres. The organization possesses complete and multiple sets of requisite farm machinery, post harvest handling devices and logistic facilities to manage a large area. We have established major and minor field outposts, away from administrative block, which functions as operational centres for various field activities in areas under their command. Production of disease free seed is ensured by sticking to a text book package and the schedule of activities is executed in a clockwork fashion. Timely operations are guaranteed by experienced field and technical staff under the overall supervision of specialist scientists. Quality parameters are strictly enforced to obtain disease-free and vigorous product.

We produce approximately 27,000 tonnes of seed potato annually during winter season and all the produce is stored in our own modern cold stores with a capacity of 27,000 tons. State-of-the-art gadgets ensure maintenance of requisite temperature, humidity and CO2 levels. The organization has about 420,000 Sq.ft. of covered area to handle seed at pre and post cold store phase.

Seed potato produced by Global Agritech is very well positioned and has conspicuous visibility in all potato growing regions in USA. The house has a strong marketing network and our product commands a premium.
