Global Biotech

Global Biotech is Europe’s life sciences organisation, working on behalf of members for more than 35 years to provide representation and services to promote the global growth of the Europe’s life sciences industry. Global Biotech is a well-connected network of over 4,000 members in the life sciences, including therapeutics, medical technology (devices and diagnostics), digital health, and agri-biotech sectors.

We have representation in each European countries and states, providing a national network to support members and promote the commercialisation of Global Biotech life science in national and international marketplaces.

Global Biotech is dedicated to the development, growth and prosperity of the Europe’s life science industry, by providing initiatives to drive sustainability and growth, outreach and access to markets, and representation and support for members nationally and around the world.

Policy and advocacy

We maintain strong connections with government and encourage members to share their perspectives and insights. We advocate for policy reform in tax, clinical trials, intellectual property, regulation, and more to sustain Europe’s global competitive advantage in the life sciences.

Access to capital

Life science companies are uniquely vulnerable and access to capital is crucial to supporting the sector to grow and develop. We are committed to fostering relationships between companies and investors, up-skilling people to better navigate the investment (and life sciences) market, and to working hard to keep tax incentive policies that allow companies to access this capital.

We run more than 105 events each year, showcasing the sector nationally and internationally.
